Posągi ozyriackie Hatszepsut

Do filarów trzeciego tarasu dostawione były posągi króla Hatszepsut, którą ukazano w formie boga Ozyrys, władcy Krainy Umarłych. Ciało Hatszepsut ukazano jako owinięte w bandaże, w dłoniach trzyma symbole władzy oraz znak życia anch. Na głowach posągów Hatszepsut po północnej stronie ukazano króla w białej koronie Górnego Egiptu i koronie czerwonej symbolizującej Egipt Dolny. Posągi po stronie południowej natomiast ukazano jedynie w koronie Górnego Egiptu. Rząd posągów ozyriackich Hatszepsut miał symbolizować jej transformację w króla Zaświatów w momencie jej śmierci, co gwarantowało jej życie wieczne w Krainie Umarłych.

Hatshepsut's Osiriade Statues

To the pillars of the third terrace were attached statues of King Hatshepsut, who was shown in the form of the god Osiris, ruler of the Land of the Dead. Hatshepsut's body is shown wrapped in bandages, holding the symbols of power and the sign of life in his hands. The heads of the statues of Hatshepsut on the north side show the king in the white crown of Upper Egypt and the red crown symbolizing Lower Egypt. The statues on the south side, however, are only shown in the crown of Upper Egypt. The row of osiriade statues of Hatshepsut was to symbolize her transformation into the king of the Underworld at the time of her death, which guaranteed her eternal life in the Land of the Dead.
